Tom Chapman – Senior VP of Corporate Aircraft
Tom, C&L Aviation Group’s Senior VP of Corporate Aircraft, has more than 25 years of experience in management and leadership positions in the aviation industry. Collectively, he has sold and participated in over $1-billion-worth of aircraft transactions involving global corporations, private companies and government agencies representing more than 20 countries.
At Gulfstream Aerospace, Tom was a leader in new aircraft sold and later directed the company’s cabin interior design centers and marketing. He also served on the company’s M&A executive team.
At Bombardier Aerospace’s Flexjet division, Tom worked closely with high net-worth individuals and C-level executives in the northeastern U.S. to structure their personal fractional aircraft ownership solutions, and launched the Flexjet Canada program.
Tom also worked with charter company XOJET to establish their brand and service. He is a regular speaker at the U.S. Corporate Aviation Summit on fractional aircraft ownership and the jet card industry, and he served as Vice President at Northstar Group, a leading retained executive search firm specializing in senior level positions in the aviation industry.
Tom earned a Bachelor of Science degree in administration from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, where he also studied at the graduate level. He attended Harvard Business School’s Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) executive program and pilot initial training in several models of business jets.
Hilary Cavanaugh – Director of Charter Sales
Hilary Cavanaugh has more than 20 years of experience in the charter aviation market, with a concentration in charter sales and operations. As a previous manager of a 15-20 aircraft Part 135 operation, Hilary has invaluable experience with day-to-day operations and negotiations that will benefit SevenJet customers.
Hilary began her career as Director of Sales at Midlantic Jet. After more than 17 years with the company, she took a position as Director of Air Charter at Air 7, where she worked closely with pilots to schedule flights and comply with FAA specifications. Before coming to SevenJet, Hilary also worked as Director of Charter Sales for Pro Jet Aviation.
Pat Marano – Director, Sales
Pat Marano, SevenJet’s Director of Sales, has more than 30 years of experience in the aviation industry, beginning with the United States Navy and including charter services and aircraft management.
Pat enjoys working with clients to evaluate their overall aircraft requirements for business and personal travel and assisting them in maximizing their expenditures by taking advantage of full ownership, shared ownership or charter.
Pat has 15 years of experience in charter sales, and with a Flight Safety Corporate Scheduler Certification, he has scheduled domestic and international events for Part 91 and 135 operations.
Donald Sullivan – Chief Pilot
With more than 40 years of aviation experience, Don Sullivan serves as Chief Pilot and is also Sevenjet’s FAA Designated Check Airman. His role includes maintaining aircraft and pilot documentation, training pilots and implementing training programs to ensure that Sevenjet maintains its outstanding safety record with pilots and aircraft. Holding an Airline Transport Pilot license, Don has over 14,000 hours of flight time in FAR Part 91, 135 and 121 operations. Throughout his career, Don has held the positions of Director of Operations, Chief Pilot, Flight Standards Captain, and FAA Designated Examiner (simulator), and also spent 10 years as an air traffic controller working some of the busiest airspace in the nation.
Doug Onieu – Director of Maintenance
Doug Onieu has more than 30 years of experience in aircraft maintenance under FAR Parts 91, 135 and 121. Focused on corporate jet and turboprop aircraft, Doug has spent his career at Part 145 repair stations organizing, training and leading teams of technicians. In addition to serving as Shop Manager at Southern Jet Center where he was responsible for Hawker, Falcon, Learjet, and Citation maintenance, Doug also held the position of Lead Maintenance Technician for many years at the Cessna Citation Orlando Service Center, and had also been the northeast Field Service Representative for Textron Lycoming engines on Challenger aircraft. Doug has a strong customer service background without compromising safety, and is committed to 100% compliance in record keeping for both the FAA and aircraft owners.
Doug earned his FAA Airframe & Powerplant license at Parks College Aeronautical University, and he also holds an FAA Commercial Pilot license with Multi-Engine and Instrument ratings.
